While Alex Dux (Alexey Vostrikov) presented his work to the public recently, he is definitely not a newcomer to the world of art.

Dux’s work is based on the principle that the artist must be “constantly in a state of becoming” and that art is a journey, not a destination.

This philosophy is evident in his paintings, which are often characterized by deep interconnected meanings and symbols.

Paintings created by this complex thinker can’t always seem like anything cohesive; however, they do provide philosophical insight into Alexey’s thoughts on life (and death) through tectonic movements such as denial & acceptance.

As a result, his paintings are highly unique and often defy easy categorization.
